When is the last time that happened to you?

For me, it was years ago. I can’t even remember. And I watch quite a bit of baseball that isn’t the Twins.

For me, it was a AAA game just after they started using the pitch clock.  I loved it even though I inadvertently missed half the game.

Why in the world can a hitter take a third called strike and be surprised?  With 2 strikes you got to protect the plate.  With two strikes you certainly can't be locked into looking for a specific pitch in a specific location.  You just can't do that, yet they do.

Watching the replay of the overturned DP, why does this team have such difficulty turning two? Polanco looked like he took his time transferring the ball and then flipped it to Simmons, who was waiting flat-footed and could get nothing on the throw to first. Frustrating.

I didn't see the play, but I know in the alternate reality where the Twins re-signed Rosario, we're absolutely fuming over his mishap here.

Walking a man to get to the guy you let go, and watching him bat flip on a two run single to break open the game...if that doesn’t encapsulate this entire disaster of a season

Perfect example of just how bad this team is.  Could not get to a sub starter, and a bullpen known as "The Sieve".

Weird that they weren't shifting Rosario more so that the middle was covered.

It was hit really hard but still, it seems like a shift should have covered that.

Well, we deserved to lose scoring just a single run off Mejia.

But but...... All runs charged to Alcala so folks can still write about how Rogers is having one of his best years. Those inherited runners scored that always get ignored when writing about how good a pitcher is doing......

One pitch to Rosario.... right down the middle, with the bases loaded. Is that the Wes Johnson plan? Or is Rogers coming up with that all on his lonesome?
