70charger Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 More good stuff from Marwin! Oh, and good pick by Sano.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Caught stealing second 2-5.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 8, 2020 Posted August 8, 2020 Hi Mom, Send Money!Hi Damon Hollins*, Send Nicky Lopez! * Just from looking at the mlb.com list of Royals coaches
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 The number of pitches that hit Garver's glove, bit don't stay there, always astounds me. Stone hands. I put the over/under at 3.5 per game and play a game with myself.
70charger Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Soler is pretty good. That said, all of this is moot if the offense just wakes up. HEY! HEY! OFFENSE! WAKE UP!!!!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Probably three innings for Jake today.

70charger Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 They're wearing the navy uniforms today, not the Norwegian blues.
70charger Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Although I'm guessing Odorizzi's pitching outing will soon be pining for the fjords.
bighat Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 I say this seriously. At some point do with think about bringing in Willians Astudillo? Or at the very least rotating him in to see if he can get on base regularly? I'd love to see Willians taking some of Garver's at-bats. No snark. Bring 'em up.

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 completely unnecessary jump by byronI just don't understand this guy. Excellent at tracking the ball with his eye. Very little common sense, when at the point of making the catch. Few players look the same way when running for the ball, few look the same way at the end.

Unless, of course the umpire is unable to distinguish balls from strikes based on the catcher catching the ball.

70charger Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Jumps look cool. Chicks dig the almost-long-ball

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 C'mon Nelson, make them pay for that missed foul.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Surprised Odorizzi threw so many off-speed pitches. He had enough velocity, but not great command.
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 C'mon Nelson, make them pay for that missed foul.Woah. I called one!
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 9, 2020 Posted August 9, 2020 Missed that today is National Baseball Card Day. What were (are) your favorites? For me, 1974 was the first year I was old enough to get any cards, and when my brother came home for Christmas from his first year of college, he asked me if I had a Rod Carew. He had one for me. https://www.psacard.com/cardfacts/baseball-cards/1974-topps/rod-carew-50/48932
