Internet providers

We are moving to Rosemount next month. I switched to YouTubeTV a year ago and cut the cord. Great decision.

Does anyone have an internet recommendation? It looks like my options are Frontier, Spectrum, and Gigabit MN. I haven't had to think about this for a long time. Gigabit looks like fiber, but I don't know anything about that. Any help would be appreciated.

Fiber is better than any ISP running data down copper lines, which is most of them.

Fiber means fiber optic lines, which means higher possible speeds.

 

It depends whether you want to pay for the kinds of speed allowed by fiber. There’s really nothing better about a fiber connection in and of itself.
