Zack Granite had a miserable 2017 season. He got hurt late in spring training and was sent to Rochester. His right shoulder (non-throwing) was in pain... He went on the DL early in the season. He came back later, but in July, he was shut down and they found that he had a torn rotator cuff.

Granite and Buxton are so similar types of players, hard-nosed, play real hard... they are also really close friends.

“We got pretty close down at Rochester, we did. We talked a lot,” Granite said. “We’re the same type of player — go as hard as you can, run into the wall, dive a lot, and injuries happen. We talked, tried to figure some things out. It stinks during the moment, but maybe it was a good learning experience for both of us.”

I'm a big Zack Granite fan. I think he's a great leadoff-type hitter with great speed and really great defense/range who can play all three spots. I just hope he's healthy and gives the Twins more depth.

Granite and Buxton are similar?

"Hard nosed, play real hard"

Also, very fast. Very good defensive CF. Great base runners and base stealers... Questions with the bats. Both have lost time in their careers to injuries.

Yeah, I'm comfortable with that one sentence.

Sorry to be dense, but I see "2017" and that year was good in AAA and got him a call-up. You do mean 2018 as the miserable year?
