Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Boy, when things fall apart, we make sure they completely get obliteratedMcGill is a mopup man Bleh. At least they're finding out now I guess. Stinks. He can join Addison Reed in oblivion.
Krusington Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Just absolutely disgusting, to be honest, though I'd never cheer for a Twin to perform poorly, Odorizzi needed those runs tacked on to his ERA. I truly don't know if he's a guy we can throw all season long next year. It literally pains me to watch him pitch no matter how "smooth" of an inning he has. Disgusting.
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Trivia question my son gave me last night... Babe Ruth, Tom Seaver, George Brett, Ken Griffey Jr., Rube Waddell -- top 5 in career WAR with what in common?
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Guess they're getting a lot of data for their evaluations of guys.Magill: Not a tight spot pitcher.
mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Molly should use 2 starters every time when Jake starts , you know he is only going 5 max. bring up Pineda- gonsalves or ? Try something different,

Try something different,I've actually thought the same thing. Clearly given all the starts he's had this year, something has to change. This is literally insane what's going on with Odorizzi.

This is literally insane what's going on with Odorizzi. Twins have the same numbers the radio guys do. 3rd time through OPS vs Odorizzi is over 1.200 Leash needs to be short.Didn't get calls. Well, when you're rep is that you struggle to consistently hit the strike zone, guess what??

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Watching Matt Magill's struggles reminds me what Kohl Stewart is going through. Both guys have live arms, seem to be able to throw some great pitches, but have trouble with consistency, flying open, and leaving some curves up.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Per Berardino Magill has allowed 8 of 18 (44.4 percent) inherited runners to score.Only Busenitz (5/10) and Hildy (13/23) have been more generous among current #mntwins pen

mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Sano does have a strong arm- nice play
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 So Glad Sano is still playing third Happy he got himself into shape. Cannon Arm. Bails Magill out.
jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Can'tHandleTightSpotsAnd yet...this time, Magill threw a good pitch low and outside, got a grounder to Sano. After throwing a fastball right down the middle. It's a mixed bag. I do see similarities between Magill and Stewart.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Very uncharacteristic of Mauer to swing at that bad of a pitch.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Pull the plow Adrianza. 3-2 vs RHP, and a slider pitch. Still thrown out.
Danchat Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Nice way to ruin an inning by Molly. Pinch-runs the slow Adrianza and has him steal 2nd, easily getting caught, and somewhat forcing Mauer to swing there. Just keep Austin in the game and have Joe what he normally does...
Krusington Verified Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Horrendous pinch run decision. Ouch.

Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Very uncharacteristic of Mauer to swing at that bad of a pitch. Started the runner Great idea to take Austin out of the game for a PR. How Gardy-like.
