sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 If i read the lineup aright... Austin is actually still on the bench.
Winston Smith Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Why is LoMo still in the lineup nearly every day?
gocgo Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Remember when Kenny Williams declared that the White Sox were "all in"? I think we can safely say that we are all out! Who's on first, What's on second, I Don't Know is on third.
adjacent Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Why Sano is not playing? Is he hurt?
Fritzderkat Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Is Logan Forsythe destined to replace LoMo as the power guy in the line-up?Bring up Austadillo!
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 LOFO at number 4.....wow. Imagine thinking that would happen for any team this year.....ever....
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Why is LoMo still in the lineup nearly every day?To keep the other team from pitching around Garver, i think. At least that is what he is doing today.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 LOFO at number 4.....wow. Imagine thinking that would happen for any team this year.....ever....Does it increase his trade value? We wouldn't have traded Dozier for anyone less than a clean up hitter, now would we?
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Almost game time... Where is everybody? Oh yeah, thanks Mr. Froemming for making game threads happen!
mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Why is LoMo still in the lineup nearly every day?Tigers starting leftys next 2 days , should see austin both days, but ya LOMO no-more
mrmpls Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 R.h. Logan batting 4th - whats that say with morrison batting 7th, MOY Pleez explain. why you even play lomo
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 To keep the other team from pitching around Garver, i think. At least that is what he is doing today. Austin has poor numbers vs RHP. He'll start Saturday SundaySano getting a break early tonight to prep to face lefties Sat/Sun
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Sano’s absence from the lineup is extremely odd.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Forsythe 8 game hitting streak. PH in debut 0-1 hit ever game since. AVG raised 27 points with first inning hit.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Cave smoked double, exit velo reported at 106.6mph Then wiped out rounding second.
Krusington Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Need Ervin to raise that trade value a little bit today.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 I was hoping for some small indications that Santana was getting his velocity back, but I'm just not seeing it. I think Santana would have some trade value if he could consistently throw 90-91 instead of 88-89.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Still getting a kick out of the ads for Sheboygan Sausage giveaway, to hang out in Sept with Byron Buxton.Fortunately for Buxton, AAA season will be over so he can be back for the event.

ashbury Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Polanco has contracted Eduardo Nunez Disease: his helmet can't keep up with him on the bases!
ashbury Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Nice to take advantage of the infield mistake - Goodrum working as an undercover agent for us? Too bad the good teams don't make so many of those for us.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Nico Goodrum helps the Twins, at long last.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Goodrum and Aducci didn't do the little things right on that one.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Post-trade Forsythe is playing a lot better than pre-trade Dozier. Maybe Forsythe will play himself into another trade in the next couple of weeks.
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Post-trade Forsythe is playing a lot better than pre-trade Dozier. Maybe Forsythe will play himself into another trade in the next couple of weeks. But not as good as the post-trade Dozier
tvagle Verified Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 What do you call a dog with no legs? Who calls a dog with no legs??? That's just cruel, you know he can't come to you Chief
Mr. Ed Provisional Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 I agree, Forsythe stays hot, may gain some interest by a team w/injuries or issues that need a bat.
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Eddie Rosario, July: .622 OPSAugust (coming into tonight): .732But he started the season red hot so no one will really notice... It's a perception flaw for fans all across the board. Player A starts off really well and tails off, no big deal. His BA and metrics still look good. Player B gets off to a bad start and works his way back to respectable numbers, and fans think he's been bad all year.
