Forsythe 8 game hitting streak. PH in debut 0-1 hit ever game since. AVG raised 27 points with first inning hit.

I was hoping for some small indications that Santana was getting his velocity back, but I'm just not seeing it. I think Santana would have some trade value if he could consistently throw 90-91 instead of 88-89.

Still getting a kick out of the ads for Sheboygan Sausage giveaway, to hang out in Sept with Byron Buxton.

Fortunately for Buxton, AAA season will be over so he can be back for the event.

Post-trade Forsythe is playing a lot better than pre-trade Dozier. Maybe Forsythe will play himself into another trade in the next couple of weeks.

But he started the season red hot so no one will really notice... It's a perception flaw for fans all across the board.

 

Player A starts off really well and tails off, no big deal. His BA and metrics still look good.

 

Player B gets off to a bad start and works his way back to respectable numbers, and fans think he's been bad all year.
