sloopjont Provisional Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 "The Twins threaten but don't score" (Dick Bremer after the 8th inning today when Dozier and Mauer got on to start the inning). How many times has this been said in the last week or two?

I'm not quite there yet, but it kind of feels like it again.I’m trying hard to resist, but...man. Dismal. Seeing 15000 in the stands today sorta makes it official...everyone’s already given up. Front office to players to media to fans.
Highabove Provisional Member Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 We just used the first game of our 20 game package.Pity the foolish.

Especially late in the season, the announced attendance was almost always twice what the actual attendance was. It was a ghost town and it was a terrible atmosphere to watch a game in. Hard to imagine playing in it was any better. This will be an interesting season if things continue like this. They already have concession stands closed.

I've been distracted. A week or two from now, i'll start paying attention again, and all willbe right as rain. None of which the outfield will let fall.
