I haven't made it to a CR Kernels game yet, nut have a friend who is a regular. He raves about Whitefield's potential. Says he's a tall and lean 20-year old with outstanding speed and plus power.

Anyone have any info to share on him? I should have a first hand report in the next couple of weeks.

The 22-year-old went 2-for-5 on Friday night, his fourth straight multi-hit game. Heading into the week, he was hitting .246/.328/.404 (.732). Four games later, he is hitting .303/.361/.447 (.808).
