Developing him as a two way player basically means you are taking everything you do for other pitchers (how their off days work), and throwing it out the window. What are the odds he becomes a good pitcher if you develop him completely differently than you think is right for pitchers?

I agree. One of the reasons I'm still in the Greene #1, only as a pitcher camp. I think there must be a NL adapted program that could keep McKay doing both to start off with and then focus on what he's good at as a professional. I mean, they tried Sano at SS for a year before shutting the door. What if Mckay did both of the 1st year in Appy or the midwest and put up okay numbers as a LHP, but monsters numbers as a 1B? Why not keep that oddr open for a year if McKay is the pick?
