Why would you be surprised the Twins are bringing up a guy like Tepesch instead of one of their prospects?  Seriously, this is how the team operates even with the new people at the top.  They would rather have 28+ year old mediocrities to pitch/play mediocre at best than get their young prospects up to MLB and give them development time.  They pretend like they have a chance of competing and they are just fooling themselves.  

 

It is sad, sad, sad.  The 90 loss seasons keep piling up and the is very little signs of it changing.

Hildenberger thus far has had the best season in AAA   If not him, then Tepesch makes about the only other pitcher Rochester has going well as a reliever. Outside of Berrios, their starters are not faring well.  There was not a whole lot of choice. It might be too big of jump for a AA pitcher
