Jim Crikket Provisional Member Posted July 31, 2012 Posted July 31, 2012 Yeah I've always understood the deal has to be done and in to the MLB office by the firm deadline. Of course, that doesn't mean it's reported immediately. Could be some time before last minute deals are announced to media.
