Can someone take a pic of the spring training work groups sheet. With all the players who came down from big league camp there should be a ripple affect on the AAA, AA, A rosters

They change them every 5 days or so.  I got the 3/13 and 3/18 ones but are outdated by now.  Give it a week or so and the full season rosters will get finalized and on the teams' web sites.   More MiLB cuts will need to happen as well...

AAA has 30 players and they have to cut down to 25 or 26 players.  Who gets cut and / or who gets sent down to AA?

Let's say it is 26 because of the so many doubleheaders in the minor leagues - Highlight who you think is cut / demoted by opening day.

As of 3/23 Bax was in AAA workgroup and Wheeler in AA

I think they hold up pretty well other than a few changes.  Can you really see many of those AAA pitchers from last year getting demoted to AA?  Several of those pitchers listed were in AAA or MLB for most of last year.  List has to mean something.

Interesting to see Joe Maloney reassigned from C to OF.   He just could not cut it at C.  

 

There will be 10 or so more releases soon, i suspect and a few more DL assignments.

I haven't heard anything official but I also haven't seen Joe around camp recently either.  I'll be back there firsthand tomorrow and try to find out.  Until then Seth, you got an answer?

It's now on the Twins website that Benson was released yesterday.
