Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 MLB.TV auto-renews every year. I've been a subscriber for 8 years now. The only way to get out of the auto-renew would be to change the credit card on file. Still, I wouldn't be able to understand why someone would not want to auto-renew. It's as important as air. Changing the credit card is not the only way to stop the auto-renew. You can turn it off in your MLB account under subscriptions. You can even do it before your subscription has expired, it doesn't cancel anything, it just tells it not to renew. I pretty much cancel the auto-renew immediately every time I sign up. Make the change there, get a screenshot of it, and then notify MLB if they still try to renew later (and do a credit card chargeback if MLB takes too long to respond), although I've never had a problem with the cancellation preference "sticking".
COtwin Provisional Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I have used MLB.TV for years. Roku, AppleTv and Iphone app. Most of the time it is a pretty good service. Sometimes the innings jump around and that can be super annoying. Anyone know how to fix that? What drives me nuts though is Fox Sports North seems to take a lot of time off in spring training. Some teams have every game televised, FSN seems to do about half. Weak. They need to step it up. Shoot yesterday on on the Twins network, you had to watch the Cardinals playbyplay and color.

COtwin Provisional Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 I usually watch the game a bit behind live. When its archived it is better. But on the laptop when you click the inning it tends to jump to live or sometimes back to beginning. On appletv it can do the same thing.
DrNeau Verified Member Posted March 15, 2016 Posted March 15, 2016 It's always glitchy at the beginning of the year.

I usually watch live, but now that you've mentioned it, in the rare instances I've tried your approach of skipping to particular innings, I've seen similar issues, and I've seen them reported elsewhere, so I doubt there is an easy fix.
