No, the blurbs are short. I think only RP were mentioned after the list.

Thorpe was the "sleeper" prospect (I think the 2nd or 3rd time he's been the "sleeper").  Cabbage was in the backend of the top 20

In fairness, Detroit is more a player in the free agent market, also Chicago to a lesser extent, and as for Kansas City....that story has been written.

Detroit, Chicago, and KC have all chosen to trade minor league assets more readily than either Cleveland or the Twins. Having either a superior or poor minor league balance sheet is mostly a function of strategy and not so much a reflection on scouting, drafting, and developing. A poor minor league balance sheet becomes a problem longer-term when the major league balance sheet is also poor enough to include several deficiencies, which is where the Twins found themselves to be a few years ago. Free agency has its limitations, economic and otherwise, and if a team doesn't grow some of its own All-Star calibre talent, at some point the piper will get paid. It'll be interesting to see if Detroit and Chicago have depleted their farm systems in a way that leads to immediate success. I liken their approach to my old business, where one distinguished between a stock trade and an investment. Both could be profitable, of course. I like Cleveland's and Minnesota's chances longer-term, but wouldn't bet against either Chicago or Detroit in 2016.

Top 10s for each team are up today.

In addition to the above....Gonsalves, Burdi, Meyer make up the last 3 in the top 10. The overview talks almost completely about all the RP in the system and how hard they throw.

If you aren't paying for this, I don't get it......

I used to pay but stopped. I think you get just as good (or better) rankings/capsules for free from mlb.com.

I pay for BA Prospect Handbook - don't like their rankings as much on the top end (which are free anyways), but much more thorough in their breakdowns/information throughout, especially beyond the top 10s.

Today he released his top prospects by position.....

Alex Meyer is the number 1 RP prospect in baseball. He also has Burdi and Reed in the top 10, and mentions that if you can build a bullpen from drafted RP, the Twins have enough guys to do it.

I assume the "if" means he's not sure it can be done.

Glad he thinks highly of Meyer although I really wanted Meyer to turn into a top of the rotation ace.
