mikecgrimes Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 The GOP is in an interesting spot. You can't win without the Tea Party, but the Tea Party probably won't win. In the case of speaker of the house who cares, fighting harder is good, but we can all count votes and until they have the white house they don't have the votes. At what point does the establishment decide probably can't win is better then can't win? As for Paul Ryan the tea party tried to give the establishment an exception and it failed, good luck moving forward.
biggentleben Verified Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Can someone put Kristi Noem in there? Then her Candy Crush during committee meetings might get to be more of a national embarrassment and get her butt out of DC. Until then, the die-hard GOPers of SoDak will ensure she's constantly returning, regardless of how poor it looks on the state.
