Switch-pitcher Pat Vindette called up to the majors

Love this!! In part because of the switch-pitching thing. I think only former Twin Greg Harris has done it (and not sure if he did it in a major league game). But he's another 

 

Also, he's another guy who has more than put in his time. Good for him!

Just heard somewhere earlier today , he did do it in a major league game. I want to say 1995. Edit: Sept 28 , 1995 while pitching for the Expos he pitched both hands vs Reds.

I think only former Twin Greg Harris has done it (and not sure if he did it in a major league game).

Harris pitched ambidextrously in one game for the Expos (Sept. 29, 1995; the penultimate game of his career) against the Reds.  He faced 2 batters as a righty, and two as a lefty (right, left, left, right.  1 IP, 0R, 1BB [left-handed]).

 

Prior to that, you have to go back a ways.  Tony Mullane (1881-1894) is an interesting figure in the history of baseball, and considered the most accomplished switch pitcher.
