Article: How Trevor Plouffe Became A Run Producer

Halsey is back after spending a few days at the VA and getting sliced and diced for a double hernia.  Hurt like hell but good to be home. 

 

So as far as poof goes, it's good to see him flashing leather one day and hitting the next recently.  I doubt he'll keep it up, but I like to see wins, so hope he does.  No extension or any thoughts along those lines though.

Some Twitter conversation going on today about Sano's bat heating up and moving Plouffe. I'm not sure about you guys, but as long as Plouffe's on this team, I think he is our best defensive option at 3B. He has come a long ways from his days of playing SS and firing throws left, right, down, up to 1B.

 

I think moving Sano to the OF would be better than having Arcia out there. Our problem, is we kind of have 4 DH's down the line. Although Sano is an athlete, we don't know how well he would translate to the OF, defensively.
