There are only 9 college-produced players who have gone on to collect 3,000 hits in the Majors.

1. How many of these players and their schools can you name?

2. What is the only college represented by more than one player on this list?

Notre Dame and Minnesota had two, so there's more than one school represented by multiple members of the 3,000 hit club.

Winfield and Molitor - U of M

Gwynn - San Diego State

Tris Speaker was a Texas college - TCU?

Cap Anson was Notre Dame, but I think he actually had two colleges, and I'm going to be mad I forgot which one...

Yaz was Notre Dame

Raffy Palmeiro was Mississippi State (know this because a bunch of Braves fans have a soft spot for him)

last one I can remember was the one you showed, Craig Biggio at Seton Hall.

I know Columbia used to have a great baseball program in the era of Lou Gehrig, so maybe someone from there.
