Buxton stole 3 bases last night! He now has 19 in 21 tries. His average is at .269 with 6 homers and 35 RBI.

 

I grade him out as a pretty fast runner.

Buxton posted an .840 OPS in AA before the Twins called him up.

 

After returning to the minors--this time to AAA--he has been on fire:

 

35 PA, .406/.457/.500 (.957)

 

Shane Robinson isn't a MLB player, and Torii Hunter's walk up music should be Tom Petty's Free Fallin' right now. The decision to be made seems pretty obvious.

we just don't have any defensive versatility on our roster.  Hunter, Hicks, Rosario, Escobar, and Santana ain't cutting it.

 

And Robinson's barely over .600 OPS is nice to have on the bench. Yesterday Dick said our bench is 4 for 39 this year in pinch hitting attemps.  I don't know what is more pathetic, the 4 hits or 39 AB's.
