He chatted with several pitchers about what is important to them in a pitching coach. The four thoughts were: Communication Understanding of Mechanics Knowledge that every pitcher is different. The mental part of the game.There are 4-6 quotes on each topic. This is a tremendous article. What are your thoughts? What would you add to his list?

Covers his mouth when he talks to pitchers on the mound.3. Has a plethora of baseballisms "calm down son, just throw strikes" etc4. Looks good in a team jacket5. Has a good supply of dugout pranks.
