Well, the Royals were ahead 5-1, but here we are in the 6th inning and the O's just tied it up on a 75 foot bloop between the pitcher and 2nd base. Finnegan walked the leadoff man, but then gave up two weak hits to tie the game.

5-5 heading to the 7th.

Nah man. :)

Royals can not catch a break. The 75 foot base hit to tie the game. Then ump called Dyson out stealing -Dyson did not over slide, Schoop held his tag and pushed Dyson's leg off the base by literally an inch and he's called out.

End of 7 and tied so hope KC can just take a breath and finish the deal.

The tempo of this game completely changed after that Dyson call. These relievers are just nasty, for both teams. They make the Twins bullpen look like a bunch of washed up retreads... wait a second....

I've only watched some of this postseason, but these KC games are the best baseball I've watched in a long long time. I didn't think they were this good during the regular season.

The announcers are pulling so hard for the O's its making me sick. It's one thing when you are listening to a hometown broadcast, its another when its a national broadcast. I want DickBert.

Bases loaded, no one out, Hosmer grounds to first, and first baseman standing right on top of first base makes an outstanding heads up play to NOT touch first base and throw it home for force instead. Except the throw is ridiculously horrible but Hundley somehow shorthops it and keeps his foot on plate for force out.

The Royals are the first team to ever make an LCS after having the least walks and least home runs in a league. Yet here they are.

As far as broadcasting, Rob Neyer and a cast of characters are offering a sabr-friendly broadcast of the NLCS as this article mentions.  Hopefully that starts to catch on...
