Target Field...Hitters Haven?

This surprised me. Everyone talks about Target Field being a pitchers paradise so to see it top 3 is really surprising. At least this year anyway.

It has been trending more that way every year. It hasn't been a run suppressing park since 2011. The home run change this year moved the ranking from around 10 to 3. I wouldn't believe the hr number unless it stayed through this year and the next.

I was skeptical of the claims of TF being an extreme pitchers park early on, and I'm skeptical about it being a hitters park now.

 

I've always felt it would settle in as pretty average, just based on dimensions and altitude. Maybe a slight advantage to pitchers, but nothing to pay any attention to.
