stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Going into today, the Twins have had exactly one start by a left handed pitcher (the second game of a doubleheader vs. the Dodgers). The franchise record is nine starts by lefties in 1995 according to my research. The team has had six seasons where left handers started a majority of the scheduled games in a season. As someone who favors a little balance, it would be nice to have a lefty join the rotation. Darnell and Johnson are doing well at Rochester, so that might happen.
