Thrylos Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Just a question for the folks in the Cities who are following the Gophers. It seems that the Twins usually draft a few Gophers. Derek McCallum was a disaster as a high round draft pick. I heard a lot of good things about Oakes. The Twins drafted him in the 41st round last season but did not sign. He will definitely go higher this season; is he worth the pick you think in the 3-5 rounds?

I have no idea how he is viewed in the draft. Seems like a Twins pitcher, low 90's (atleasat on the Gophers gun behind home) and good control.
