Unsustainable, they said.

It'll never last, they said.

They found him where, they said?

Credit to Gardenhire for the HBP. Right before Bartlett went up, Gardenhire made like Walter Matthau telling Rudy to lean into a pitch.

I would've commented sooner, but I couldn't find a proper pic of Rudi.

nine runs. not bad. Using advanced sabermetrics I predict we should need 18.76 runs today for the win. If Bartlett has to be pulled for a wrist injury that number significantly decreases to 14.83 runs.

If Colabello keeps this up, his movie rights are going to be worth more than his salary.

What was Antony's quote? Something like, "why is everyone so concerned about the 25th man on the roster"?

While Bartlett's fielding and hitting is an embarrassment for both Bartlett and the team, this is just 1 of 162, and the Twins could still win in spite of terrible LF play.

Good call. Put Arcia on the DL. We know he isn't playing for at least a few days and if Willingham is day-to-day we can't afford to not have another OF.

And they could still lose because of it… what's your point?

Pretty hard to not root for Colabello. With our OF's going down like flies, he probably DH's for the near future.

Regardless of the outfield situation, he's earned it. He's bound to regress, but he's been the best hitter as a DH on the teams, and he's fielded first base pretty well too.

He is not in the Rochester line up.

Injured?

On a plane to Minnesota?

Not one of the best 9 Red Wings?

If we were told at the beginning of spring training that we'd open the season with Kubel and Bartlett on our 25 man, and after 2 series ONE of them would look like they did in their prime, we'd mostly be OK with that. But now that we've figured out which one it is, time to let the other go.

I'm hoping that Herrmann is either in transit or that they've got him ready to be called up at any second. Please.
