When Bartlett was just coming up and had talent, Gardenhire constantly jerked his chain, he couldnt do anything right, Bartlett proved he could play with the Rays...and now, a washed up Bartlett who cant play, makes the team....oh well give those kids some at bats in the minors..I guess...

Gardy and the GM do that all the time. It had more to do with service clock and the veteran SS in front of Bartlett. Now Bartlett is the Veteran, doesn't matter if he can do anything or not, there isn't anyone behind him anyways.
