According to the article, the Twins are only “reluctant” to trade players with team control after this season.  This makes sense (except arguably for unloading Josh Donaldson snd his contract),    The Twins we’re favorites to win the Central this year and could field a World Series caliber team next year.   Max Kepler and Jorge Polanco are producing again, Byron Buxton can be a top ten major leaguer if he stays healthy ….   Still, they should keep a high asking price on Berrios and Buxton and consider taking an “offer they can’t refuse”.

This makes the most sense to me.  1 Above avg. starter added to Berrios and hopefully a healthy Maeda and a couple rookies stepping up could make a rotation. Then its the pen the needs a rebuild around Rogers.
