I have asked this question 3-4 times in various comments to articles, with no responses. Would someone who knows the answers, please reply to these questions and explain the method the Twins use in pre-game discussions of what pitches to call, how the caller of the pitches is informed what pitches are working for the Twins' pitcher that particular day at different times during the game, who actually calls each pitch, how much leeway the pitcher has to call his pitches and how other "pitching suc
My wife and I have had to cancel our annual trip to Ft. Myers this year due to health problems. We have 2 tickets to each of the first 4 home games: Home opener with the Blue Jays, The Red Sox, the Phillies and a second game with the Red Sox. The seats are all on the 3rd base side in the lowest level, most near an aisle and most near the top of the lower level, so not much stairs to walk up and down. I'll be glad to sell them. for half the face value. I have printed them out and can email and sn
Interesting article in the Atlantic magazine about good team chemistry. Tell me what you think. Does good team chemistry result in winning teams, or do winning teams produce good team chemistry, automatically? https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/07/finding-the-formula-for-team-chemistry/561722/
I am not a follower of Donald Trump. I have participated in several no kings rallies and am disgusted with what he and his followers have done to our country and the world. I would like to know what most Brazilians feel about the United States now and about the folks our citizens have elected to represent us.
Just read your article on Twins defense this year and I couldn’t agree more. Pair poor defense with an over abundance of left handed hitters, players who have failed to show they can hit consistently, and a pitching staff lacking in quality starters (Ryan excepted) and we have the makings of a team that is going to lose90-100 games this year.
I read your article on Walker Jenkins. Derek Falvey’s player scouting and development operation has produced few, if any, long term starting position players who can field and hit well enough to be regulars over a nine year period. For this reason I am inclined to be skeptical about Jenkins until he proves otherwise. I hope I’m proven wrong but, given the Twins inability to find and develop position players who have the ability to hit and defend over any period of time, I fear I may be proven correct. We shall see.
