  1. TheAQI is now down to 88 … in the moderate range … play ball!
  2. Milwaukee is enough further north that it’s worse up there than Chicago. But I’d be surprised at this point if the Cubs game is cancelled. It’s way better now. Still hazy but okay
  3. This is the current, specific to Wrigley’s zipcode. It’s dropped over 100 points in the last 1-2 hrs. We maybe get some rain, that will help. My guess is they play tonight. The forecast at this site is different than what @amjgt is using as it is forecasting moderate tomorrow.
  4. They play in Chicago, though, so the effects here are a day behind you. It’s still very hazy and the AQI is still at hazard levels. It won’t get down to moderate until tomorrow, although it should drop out of hazardous to very unhealthy by game time. Many things were canceled yesterday.
  5. The air currently is still at hazard levels but should be dropping throughout the day. However, it will still be at very unhealthy levels at game time tonight. Tomorrow should be much, much better. It is very hazy, too. If we get some rain between now and game time that should help. https://www.airnow.gov/?city=Chicago&state=IL&country=USA
  6. Well, I guess they would meet in the finals. I’m still cheering on Norway but it’s going to be a tough match to get past England and Morocco to get by France. But anything can happen in a single game
  7. I did. Norway plays England. France plays Morocco
  8. France and Morocco is the matchup @Mike Sixel
  9. Norway is t playing Morocco. They have England next, so I thought
  10. Tomorrow’s games are Argentina v Egypt and Switzerland v Colombia. I’m guessing Argentina wins. I also pick Colombia over Switzerland.
  11. This is an event, like the Olympics, that happens once every four years. I don’t know why people can’t just enjoy seeing the best of the best on the world stage without making it about nationalism. Yes, every country shows its pride, but I, for one, just enjoy the sport without feeling the need to wave the flag. And I’ve never lived in Belgium, I had a boyfriend from there and visited. Beautiful country. And the best frites ever 🙂
  12. Yeah, not a great game, but they likely weren’t going to beat Belgium anyway.
  13. What I meant by it was to just enjoy all the teams and the level of play. Why cheer for the U.S. team just because they are the U.S. team? That’s sad. And that’s faux patriotism. Just like the Olympics. It’s to put on display the best of the sport. It shouldn’t be a competition of countries. I’m sorry you don’t get that, but go ahead and wave whatever flag you want.
