  1. I hear ya. He was probably cleared medically in that pitching wouldn't make it worse, the Twins like most organizations don't want to broadcast any weaknesses to the opposition, and we haven't had any clear replacement should he be taken out of the rotation.
  2. We've known for some time that Ober was having "issues" and was trying to pitch through it. The dude is a warrior but it really was past time to sideline him for whatever time is necessary.
  3. Nah, that was just the sound of Rocco's behind puckering as they lose another game.
  4. I was bummed when the Twins put Henriquez on waivers in February, I thought he was gonna be a decent bullpen guy. I think it was when they signed Coulombe.
  5. Ex-Twin Ronny Henriquez coming in for the save.
  6. Yeah, I think his glove kept the ball in the park.
  7. Does it seem the Twins give up a lot of late game squib hits?
  8. There's not one guy in the Marlins lineup i didn't say who the heck is this and had to look him up.
  9. Now who plays where now that Royce Lewis has returned (though batting .129 with 1 walk at St. Paul doesn't exactly shout "put me in coach").
  10. "Ewwww its one of those players from Minny-soda, I'm not touchin' it."
  11. Not sure of the political angle, but socially as we use more remote connecting rather than in person communication a lot of objectification can occur. its part of our DNA to compartmentalize things for easier usage and recall. Direct human interaction engages all our senses without even trying. Remote communication is a subset of all we experience in personal interaction so lends itself to easier and more compartmentalization. It's the nature of the beast and we all have to take measures to "stay whole".
  12. "The increase in legalized sports gambling has made the situation worse." Nothing about gambling is good.
  13. In other news there were rumors of a baseball game at Comerica Park tonite, but investigation proves it was just a game of catch.
  14. Central Division Champions, the Detroit Tigers.
