I'm not defending FOX so don't use FOX to justify or deflect from the hack reporting CNN has troweled out. This isn't FOX vs CNN debate if that's what you're looking for. I'm not a fan of FOX either so don't make the leap that me ripping CNN makes a some FOX loyalist. CNN is looking clownish and desperate and if you want to defend that then catch you later

The nonstop chatter about impeachment before the report even came out was utterly absurd. I already said it was on the level of Rush Limbaugh-like paranoia. The distinction that must be made is Limbaugh was a single person on the radio in the 90s who got three or four hours of airtime five days a week. CNN is a media giant that broadcasts 24/7 and has the Internet (something Limbaugh barely had during the Clinton administration). Nearly the entire thrust of CNN reporting has to do with pushing forward any kernel that could give their audience hopes for impeachment. It was exactly where the right was during Clinton's second term, but it is worse now because of the way the media has proliferated over the last 20 years. Watch the video (or don't). That is all.

You think I am talking about Mueller and the investigation itself? My entire post was about the media portrayal of this thing so I am not sure what you are doing, The twiddle came from places like MSNBC and CNN, not Mueller or the investigation.

Left leaning media outlets really are starting to embarass themselves. They are getting into the same area Rush Limbaugh got into during the Clinton Administration. The democrats now have the most extreme voices being heard above all. They need to step outside of themselves and take a good look right now This BS about the Mueller report being a "small victory for Trump" totally misses the mark.. IF anything it is an embarassment for America. So much twiddle about nothing.

With investigations you either can or cannot obtain the evidence to convict No amount of bloviating from CNN or FOX (or on message boards) is going to change what is in the report and we haven't seen it soo....respectfully, I am out on this one

Is it more logical to assume this? It could be he was hoping for certain things to turn up that never really did. In any event, I am not going to predict anything (or even comment any further unless the report becomes available to the public).

If they had something truly damning why would it have taken so long? Mueller was obligated to do this and now that it's done all the talk about it seems totally anti-climactic

I won't criticize the FO for not being aggressive trying to build a bullpen this year. They TRIED last year with some veteran signings and it just did not work out because bullpen arms are so streaky from year to year. I do not feel the need to criticize this aspect of the offseason because relievers to me are a crapshoot 90% of the time. That being said, what is wrong with the criticism here? The bullpen was not good last year and they did not take a whole lot of action. You said you don't criticize the FO. Is it your policy to just give them a pass? While I am not interested in this discussion I actually like the passion and I think good points have been made. It is good reading to me. What is the point of pouring cold water on the discussion? It's hot stove talk. Let if live and try not to let it irritate you so much.

That isn't what I impled by any means. That was what you inferred, unfortunately. You actually admitted to have not given much thought as to the feasibility of such an initiative. Not sure how or why you can disallow skepticism about such an initiative when you admitted have not given it much thought. How does it actually work? I really could not say and neither can PseudoSABR. Develop the thought or else you really can't blast someone who is a skeptic. I could say we need to end violence by taking guns away from everyone and while that sounds great, how does it work? Sadly, lots of ideas die because we lack the means, resources, feasibility etc. to actually make it possible. I am a certified NY State Teacher and have been for 23 years. That makes me a mandated reporter, someone who is supposed to report on child abuse, etc...as an advocate for children. I have seen a few things in my years of doing this and I wish you hadn't made the assumption that I believe those on Welfare are lazy screw ups. That could not be further from the truth. I met with a parent yesterday who broke down and cried about her situation (living with her daughter in a hotel and unemployed for almost a year now). At no point was I unsympathetic and I am actually endeavoring to help her find a way (behind the scenes) through her problem. There are no easy answers and quite frankly I find SABRs cavalier comment: "If we can bus kids to school and keep them there all day without killing or losing too many of 'em, we can do this too." kind of telling. What am I supposed to infer from that? That he is serious about this? Please don't assume my stances are born out of bigotry or from being uniformed just because we haven't agreed on certain other items. Please don't infer things in a way that automatically portrays me as a knuckle dragging Neanderthal. These tactics are rather Clintonesque I like to believe you are above that
