  1. This is what I was going to go with too. Who knows if I'd ever face him again.
  2. If I could scrounge it up, I'd be buckling in right next to you.
  3. Probably get there faster too.
  4. And much richer to be able to afford such craziness.
  5. how long it'll take to colonize Mars?
  6. The Cards are my favorite NL team, so I remember this bomb very well. I remember laughing hysterically at the reactions of pretty much everyone there. I also remember how quiet it got so quickly. Tom Verducci had a nice interview a week or two ago with Trout and Pujols and how they help each other. It was pretty good insight between how two of the games best hitters learn from each other.
  7. There's still a lot of baseball to be played. Baseball has always been a marathon, not a sprint so they can weather this storm and still be just fine. It's good for the young core to have some adversity in my view.
  8. It's not as though Wimmers is awe inspiring. At least some of the prospects tells the team and the fans that the future is indeed coming. This almost seems like something TR would do.
  9. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
  10. Except the Astros just made the Twins pitching staff look like a AAAA staff at best. That's my concern. LAA is gettable though, that is for sure.
  11. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. At what point does Molitor be deemed clinically insane? It's bad enough that I almost feel sorry for Pressly that he continues to get thrown into the fire and that has nothing to do with the ensuing results. Send him down already and let him work some things out in AAA. What's happening isn't helping anyone.
  12. I think Houston just scored again...
  13. "Ouch" is an actual post in this thread too, so that reaction is appropriate.
  14. So how did this team accomplish that?
  15. I know this is supposed to make me feel better, but it doesn't. Pujols is sitting on 599 HRs right? What does he end the series with?
  16. At this rate, he may even qualify by seasons end.
  17. I think I'm at the point where I believe Molitor is even overusing Giminez.
  18. Where did you find the 4 wins in that scenario?
  19. I agree with you completely. Given the circumstances I don't really have an issue with it, but like I said, I'm bothered that he was really the only young guy getting the call up. I definitely agree that the FO should be racked over the coals for this and there needs to be a better plan. This has been an embarrassing series to say the least.
  20. I see it as an ongoing issue since Molitor became the manager, but these past three days have been extraordinary even for them.
  21. I wasn't one of those people, but I'm fine with him getting a chance. It's the fact that he's the only one getting the call up that bothers me.
  22. I don't care to do that, but thank you.
  23. I think the guy that keeps putting him in the position to tank the season owns some blame as well. At this point, I don't know how Pressly can be trusted. Send him down to AAA to get things worked out.
