  1. And that's the way it should be with steak.
  2. I guess I'll put the pork away and get out the chicken!
  3. Well, third time's a charm! Agreed, it's dumb.
  4. It'll have to do since the Library of Alexandria burned to the ground.
  5. This kind of thing is not what I had in mind when I mentioned that it was polite to share. I guess I need to be more careful about what I wish for!
  6. Perfect. I've got a spot for him by my Gardy Gnome!
  7. Did you at least live dangerously and put a lemon slice in it?
  8. Whatever you're having, it's polite to share!
  9. Those were the days, weren't they?!?
  10. Nice to actually get a run scored back instead of being the team that gives it back for a change.
  11. I'm a cost estimator, so math is basically my job. I try not to use it much outside of the office, but I fail at that often. I could just estimate how many months and just figure that it's close enough, I suppose.
  12. I'd have to do far too much math in order to figure out the years, let alone the months for me. So I'll just stop before I hurt myself.
  13. Brantley hurt? I'm only paying half attention.
  14. Jobs tend to get in the way like that, don't they?
  15. Whining to the opponent in hopes of sympathy? Have they tried that strategy yet? Worth a shot!
  16. He's gonna have to bat his eyes a few more times to win mine over!
  17. Someone can confirm, but I was led to believe that Manfred banned those!
  18. I remember watching it with my dad. What really got me hooked was actually playing the game. Even at the T-ball level, I wasn't very good even relative to the other kids, but I was definitely hooked. As I got better, it just got cemented. As I started to understand all of the small battles within the game more, I got even more invested.
  19. A positive development, for sure. I know it's helpful for me. I'm at the office early and up at 4:30, so the 3+ hour games plus an hour home are difficult for me to pull off with regularity and still function at work.
  20. Promising start. Call 'em up!
