  1. I think the switch must be wired backwards...at least that is what experience has taught me.
  2. It appears that the Nolasco trade is the equivalent of Kim K's butt.
  3. How bout Alex Meyer and Nolasco? http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/08/twins-to-acquire-hector-santiago-ricky-nolasco-alex-meyer-to-angels.html
  4. Interesting thought. Feeling out the market wouldn't hurt. Nobody says a deal would have to be made. I still stubbornly consider him a starter in my head though.
  5. Agree completely. For most teams, it's about efficiently spending the money. By efficient, I mean spending on the correct players at the correct positions at the correct times. This team has generally struck out on those three points over and over again. It's not how much they spend, it's been where, how, and when.
  6. If they're able to build a lineup from within, they have plenty of resources to fill in the holes in their pitching staff.
  7. Walter Winchell probably comes up less than Mrs. Robinson though.
  8. I'd imagine that Joe DiMaggio comes up a lot in baseball conversations.
  9. Please tell me that is from the Twins media guide...
  10. I just got back from vacation. Timing is not my friend today. Workload isn't either. I'm going to pay for this afternoon later this week.
  11. I think I know what you're talking about, but I don't remember the particulars either. This is certainly a crazy scenario.
  12. Or leveraging other teams, but I suspect you're correct.
  13. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/08/marlins-return-colin-rea-padres-elbow.html I'll let them explain it.
  14. No that this has anything to do with the Twins, but the Colin Rea bit is interesting. Don't recall ever seeing something like that before.
  15. The Duffy to the pen thing seems to point towards no, unfortunately. At this point at least.
  16. They still have something so much sweeter though! I present to you, Danny Santana.
  17. But would the other team? Seems like you're getting awfully greedy!
  18. Agreed, I'm just not sure that the return featuring a bucket of already chewed Double Bubble and a bag of baseballs with the covers knocked off of them is the HUGE deal that we have in mind.
