  1. Brooks Robinson would like a word with you... But I agree that's he a vacuum at the hot corner. Fun to watch indeed.
  2. That's at least the second reference to prostitution in today's thread. That is all.
  3. Good point. It's 8:00, well past the bedtime of someone of his advanced age.
  4. Seriously. Class of '99. Go Otters! The devestation was real...
  5. I think i'll only believe that if it left a tail like a comet. Though, not having seen it, I'd like to know how hard a ball is hit that doubling up buxton is possible.
  6. I can accept that. CornNuts are awesome!
  7. My friend doesn't get it. Can he have a hint?
  8. Lake Agassiz is trying to restore its former glory. Mother Nature always wins.
  9. All of those superfluous fictional people left behind about 4,000 descendants comprising the population gain to today's population. Judging by the average age of the Fergus Fallsian, they are all first generation descendants.
  10. 4,000 posts a year is a pretty good clip.
  11. Put one of those 8-track pizzas in and relax. The anger will pass.
  12. I grew up in Fergus Falls. Being an avid history buff, I can confirm Fergus Falls' place among the most populated cities in the country during the 20's.
  13. That may very well be the case, and I hope that it is. The news of Rucinski being optioned and Wilk not being considered for a start makes much more sense. This is what I get for reacting to unconfirmed information. That being said, I still would have liked a promotion from within over this.
  14. I'd agree with this completely if there were a plan that was a bit more clear. The moves last week seemed to indicate one thing and now this doesn't really fit into that. It's an outlier move, which is what is confusing to me to begin with. It doesn't show that they're trying to win now and it doesn't show that they're trying to get the future of the organization big league experience. So what is it telling me?
  15. That's fine, but they could have let Mejia take the spot start. They could have let Tepesch take the spot start. They could have even gone with a bullpen game (yes I find the humor in that too). It seems silly to bring a guy in with this sort of resume for that sort of purpose.
  16. So what is the excuse for the rest of his career?
  17. If I were on this team, I'm not sure what the FO was trying to tell us. That's a problem. And as a season ticket holder, I'm not sure what this FO is trying to tell us. That's a problem.
  18. I'd lock up Sano first. He's pretty much established whereas Buxton, while proving to belong now, still has a bit more to prove. I think locking up Sano now and Buxton the next offseason (if not also now) would be a prudent move.
