I am going to see Wonder Woman tonight. Is it good?

Maybe he and the home plate umpire accidentally switched glasses?

Go back to your nap and we might win this.

    That was very happiness inducing.

It sounds like Direct TV does a better job than my cable company, which does not show this game on its guide. I am literally praying for Buxton to score here.

If I drive fast I can see the 9th inning... I just found the game. It was not on the guide, but they are carrying it. Thank you for inspiring me to check every channel!

I finally get home to find that Extra Innings is not carrying the game. I see, however, that Mejia has not given up a run. Maybe we can build on that and win this game.

On January 3, 2012, Silva signed a minor league deal with the Boston Red Sox. He was released on March 17.

No 401(k) plan to use to avoid the extra tax? Have you considered an IRA?

From Wikipedia -- "After being released by the Twins in late 2013, Blackburn encountered problems with his surgically repaired knee which he had surgery on in August. Because of a needed second surgery on his right knee, Blackburn spent the 2014 season recovering from knee surgery.[14] Since his retirement, Blackburn went on to be a coach for his former high school, Washington High School in Washington, Oklahoma."

My sense is that there has been a "total system failure" in drafting and developing pitchers, and that most people can agree on that. My biggest question is how much of this relates to: (1) poor scouting (drafting and trading for the wrong players), (2) poor strategy (drafting relievers with the hope of developing them into starters), and/or (3) poor development (substandard coaching and/or putting players at the wrong levels).

You seem to want the Twins to call up Gonsalves -- a LOT.

I am also at work, which is some ways seems better than watching this game.

    Game is not over yet.

Is it too soon (jinxwise) to mention that Cleveland lost?

I think that Gimenez should pitch the 9th and be awarded a hold.

Just getting home. Are we winning?

I have been married for 35 years. There are 3 key phrases: 1. Yes, dear. 2. Whatever you say, honey. 3 (for when you have kids) Ask your mom.

    Uh oh.

I am going to be out bass fishing during the game. Hopefully every fish that I catch and release will give karma to Turley.
