  1. Despite striking out in a whopping 44% of his plate appearances, Walker has a better OBP thaaaaan Park Escobar Plouffe Dozier Suzuki Santana Centeno (Rosario) (Button)
  2. Ah I see what you are getting at. (what the lower quote says right?) Do other owners let their presidents hire the FO staff with a hands off approach? The Pohlads would still have to find a president then and personnel search firms haven't been too nice to MN lately. With how the Wild and the Wolves stepped up and Zimmer being a stud, its frustrating watching ownership that cant address these issues. How the hell did the Wolves become more interesting than the twins....
  3. How much influence does St. Peter actually have on the on field product? From a business ops standpoint the Twins seem to run pretty well. What I want out of a GM is someone that can correctly pick an impact player out of the first round. Gibson in '09 and Plouffe in '04 are currently the most recent first rounders we have on the 25 man. I know you can find diamonds in the rough but it's been 12 years since we have had a position player stick (on this team) that was drafted out of the first round. The first overall pick in next years draft is not something I want TR deciding on. Hindsight is 20-20 but we took Gibson 3 spots before all-world Mike Trout. Fingers crossed on Buxton and Gordon
  4. At least it took them more than 0 out's to score a run today
  5. How about a 10 person trade with a couple other bad teams. Give this roster a 4-5 player shake up wake up.
  6. Great read! It seems like your mind has had some time to wander while the twins struggle. . Trying Dozier lower in the order 0_o
  7. From a purely psychological standpoint, the team feels young. The veterans haven't gotten it done in the last 5 years and our highly touted farm system is coming to fruition hopefully. Even with a fair amount of vets all the hope for the future lays on the young guys, which makes the team seem more youthful
  8. At this point I'd be more interested in watching a team in full rebuild mode than watching the current product. Losing is losing is losing. Put the exciting kids on the field.
  9. This team has the worst record in the AL and a stacked farm system. Something is not adding up in how these roster decisions are made. Thumbs up to whoever said it earlier, I'd rather lose with young guys with high ceilings than average veterans. Gg TR this season is already over.
  10. But why can't our guys come up and stomp right away like Trout and Harper. So unfair.
  11. Now we are asking the real questions! Like am I holding my breath when my eyes wide open watching Sano track a ball in right? Or Hyperventilating when I shut my eyes in disbelief when the twins are on pace ton destroy the single season K record??
  12. I love Dozier, but seeing him rip away like he does at the top of the order is frustrating. Fly ball out's don't do much for a lead-off man. He profiles so much better as a 5 or 6 hitter imo.
  13. Muahaha. Thatta boy Escobar! Let those detractors know what you think of them.
  14. Is this on the radio or online anywhere?
  15. We didn't shop Plouffe because a .244 third baseman isn't worth crap on the market. If he has a hot start he'll be worth way more at the trade deadline.
  16. The Rosario-Escobar-Suzuki trio have been coming up big more often than not since the Baltimore series. In the field and at the plate. (Though that Suzuki strike out last night 0_o)
  17. The Rosario-Escobar-Suzuki trio have been coming up big more often than not since the Baltimore series. In the field and at the plate. (Though that Suzuki strike out last night 0_o)
  18. Man, Hicks would be real nice in RF right now...
  19. Do any of the pitchers happen to have six fingers on their left hand?
  20. The idea of trading any of our starting pitchers now that we have a "suplus" just feels so wrong after so many years of fuitility. No way we give Gibby or Berrios up for Tulo.
