  1. Shhhh ... Halsey might hear you!
  2. He made quite a few pitches, but got them out. Two strike outs and a ground out.
  3. If you haven't checked the top of the 1st was 7, 4-3, 8.
  4. A couple of fly balls, but I don't remember now what Esco did.
  5. Since no one started anything new, we'll go from here!

  7. I work in a business where that same 'desire' is necessary. And you slog through 'paying your dues' waiting for a chance at the big time. Some make it, many don't. It's not uncommon to have doubts and wonder if it's all worth it, especially if you are barely eking out a living. I've even quit before. But I ended up one of the lucky ones, persevered, because thats what I really wanted after getting past all the doubt and struggle, and won a position in probably the top organization in this country in my field. I can't say that my 'stats' were that of a standout, but I'm good at what I do and with a lot of luck, some good timing, and hard work, I did it. Tyler may still end up making the decision that it's time, but who knows? I give him credit for being here and say 'Good for him!' and 'Go get it!'
  8. Yeah I was watching Torii that I only caught Sanos run to 3rd when he was sliding. And I was thinking, 'Oh! Sano ran that out!'
  9. That hit by Hicks seemed to just hang up in the air so long that it seemed someone should have gotten it. Wonder if the breeze pushed it back a bit
  10. Torii totally blew through the stop Glynn threw up at 3rd. Good deal.
  11. Not fun but it is only ST
  12. And look who stopped by! (Psst, it was a look alike poser. From a distance I was fooled, but up close it wasn't him; too short, wrong voice)
  13. My vantage point today:
  14. I liked the short videos you did with some of the players last year, too. (Hint)
  15. I'll take it from you.
  16. Heh, Federer was hardly playing to win. He totally let that kid win ... and good for him.
  17. This is not a thread about Gardy vs Molly. Yes, it will be interesting to see how Hicks is handled going forward, but this is an article about Hicks' batting. Let's not make this about the peripherals, please. You are welcome to start a thread about his handling now vs his handling then if you like.
  18. Got out just in time. With two octogenarians in tow, it was enough heat and humidity after 7 innings.
  19. My guess is they are trying to ease Pinto back into play having been out with a quad strain.
  20. Bases loaded, no outs. And only one run scores. Whatchya gonna do.
  21. A negligible difference.
  22. And the double hit by Brown over Hunters head ... hmm, Humter seemed not move. Maybe he didn't catch it off the bat right away
