    The most recent protests I was involved with was opposition to the Iraq war and I can tell you that the people that ended up getting arrested knew exactly what would happen, how and why. When it reached that how and why point was when I went home. Brock was right a dozen pages or more ago. Don't acknowledge 'He Who Must Not Be Named,' don't give him press, don't give him any breath.

    Exactly. Watching last night during the KC rally and he was playing it up and mugging it up for the cameras. It's adding fuel to the fire. The problem is the media and what it chooses to cover. Shame on them for giving air time to Trump and not BLM.

    I don't disagree with Trump's responsibility in this and I am sickened by the things he says. But responding with violence isn't the answer either. Violence only begets more violence. Maybe the answer is to not continue to give him play and/or acknowledgement. Maybe protester violence just fuels him and his supporters more. And in Chicago it's not good that the protesters were chanting 'Bernie' while inciting.

    From what I could read about the protests in Chicago, the protesters' intentions were not peaceful. I've participated in protests because voicing opposition is important. But I think your message loses credibility when you resort to violence. Whenever protesters I was along side took this route, I left. That is not the way about it. As abhorrent as I think Trump is, does he not have the same right to speak?

    Maybe, maybe not. I'd rather see how he is after seeing teams a 2nd or 3rd time. I also think that pitchers aren't quite yet at regular season form. But Park has certainly given us cause to be hopeful.

    Twins score on a Nunez single, SB, followed by a Quentin double. Park singles, Suzuki walks so bases are loaded, two outs in the top of the 1st.

    The Orioles have yet to win a ST game. Will this be their one? With their 'home team' lineup against our 'away team' lineup, there are possibilities. And Trevor May gets the start ... exciting times! I'm showing that this one won't be televised, but there will be radio. Enjoy! Baseball yay! Can't get enough of it, but tomorrow I head for home and the Twins don't hit Chicago for a bit.     To Paul Molitor: Using your 20-20 hindsight, is there anything you would have done differently last season, your first season as manager? Now that you have that first year's experience under your belt, is there anything you will do differently or fine tune going forward?

    Yeah, because he had a contract and big money waiting for him in Japan, no? Or did I get that confused with someone else?

    Maybe, unless van is prophetic and he stopped at 20 years for a reason ... like the world ending, or it just goes downhill after that.

    It was way overblown, IMO. I think fans read into it waaaaaaaaaaay too much and interpreted his 'I do too!!!!!!' to mean 'I hate being a Twin!!!!!!!' Is he supposed to wear a Twins hat wherever he goes? Is he supposed to reply to an enthusiastic fan 'I don't, so get over it!!!!!!!!!' That said, could he have handled it better? Omg, yes! I don't like Nolasco for what he's done on the mound ... or rather what he hasn't done, not because insecure fans are crying boo hoo over a tweet, a tweet that happened 18 months ago. While I doubt it, just maybe our actions have done nothing to help th situation. But then, that's not our jobs, either.

    If you do the math, given Vanimal is 20-something, I'm fine with his 10, 15 or 20 years down the road estimation.

    We talked a lot about this issue last season. Try using only one space after punctuation. Yeah, and don't get Brock started about the correctness of 1 or 2 spaces after sentence-ending punctuation.
