    He will make a couple rehab starts in Rochester. And migraines are very debilitating. It's not 'just a headache.'

    I used to like oysters ... fried or smoked or in a stew ... good stuff. Then I ate a bad one. What followed was not good, but what it left me with was a high intolerance for them in the future. My body detects them as poison ... oyster anything, even oyster juice which is used in some sauces ... and what follows isn't worth it. No more oysters. No clams, either ... same reaction. Won't test out scallops or mussels, either. So not worth it.

    Hmm ... there are certainly going to be some disappointed ... that we didn't sell or buy 'enough' or 'right' ... it's the way of it because we all enjoy the 'if I were GM, this is what I would do' discussion, and often have differing opinions ... and I mean that sincerely ... but ... some will be disappointed because that's the nature of it and there is no way to satisfy everyone ... so given that long-winded lead-up, my question/comment is this ... define 'fun.'

    Well ... look where I said ... lower left quadrant, but that square, gold-looking thing. Black and white cat. I wasn't making that up when I said that.

    Oh, there they are!! I spotted them! It would have been easier to find them in the garbage photo you posted, Brian. It's difficult to discern a blue shirt in that crowd.

    Yes, I see the cat ... black and white cat ... stepping over what looks like possibly remnants of a tire, in the lower left quadrant, right by the gold, square thing. But where are Chief and glunn?

    It's just too late ... normally I'm a night person, up until 1 or 2am ... easily ... but I'm playing tennis at 8am tomorrow so ... will be getting to bed early.

    He was to be activated today, but a migraine kept him out of pre-game activities, so he will be re-evaluated tomorrow ... or something like that.

    sigh ... I sent an email directly to John. And I've pinned the actual giveaway thread, which will change daily. Already passed is the t-shirt (yesterday), but hope you can hop on today's offering ... beer! (Btw, I have nothing to do with this and no knowledge of what's what ... just trying to educate myself enough to help posters with questions they have.)

    Well, actually ... that other article thread was around for a couple of days but wasn't pinned. So with all the news around it sank to the 2nd page of threads. And that is the one that will be updated every day with the new daily promotion ... watch the title change daily as the days go by ... so ... hopefully you haven't missed out on anything. Also ... I guess no one noticed that if there were problems or questions with this promotion, there was an email address provided ... hmmm ...

    I seem to recall years ago Breslow saying that if /when his career in baseball was over, he would think about going to medical school. That was quite a while ago ... I wonder if he has those same thoughts.
