  1. Yep. I have many friends who hated Trump but voted for him anyway, because he was the Republican candidate. Some voted Johnson but most voted Trump. Because it’s what they do, election to election, without fail, en masse. Liberals don’t do that. They feel a moral or ethical duty to NOT vote for someone who doesn’t match their ideals enough. There is a wide range from middle to far left and there is and will never be a candidate to satisfy everyone. Heck, there are Dems I voted for (for national offices) I didn’t like because, well, there was always more at stake. I’ve been lambasted many a time through the years for suggesting my vote was for SCOTUS rather than for ‘best fit my ideals.’ Now we are seeing the results of not knowing or not believing what all your vote can do. And liberal voters will never really learn and come together because there are large factions who think they know better and will just not yield. And the finger pointing and excuse making follows every defeat.
  2. Don't know how I missed this when it came out before ... thanks! It's a GREAT feature! That said ... any chance you could expand it to the full TD 40 + 10? (I know, I know ... I keep asking for stuff!)
  3. Fly the blimp! https://wokesloth.com/the-big-baby-trump-blimp-is-heading-to-a-city-near-you/distributor/
  4. Yeah, I don’t actually believe in the voters in this country. Extreme partisanship has taken hold and people will vote party or won’t vote. And voters who support Trump will continue to disregard actual news over their right wing crap.
  5. The only way to correct it is to convict him of treason, impeach him, and throw him in jail. I’d accept impeachment at this point but that won’t happen. It says a LOT about those who still support him and those who will do nothing (GOP lawmakers).
  6. I don't know anymore. I really don't. I see nothing in sight to rally around or to be hopeful about. It's the death of a nation. How this will affect each one of us individually? I have no idea. But I have never been so uncertain, never have I felt such overwhelming dread for a situation as what we have today. I guess that's what I think of as doomed.
  7. As much as I like hearing about other parks ... and it would be fun if enough posters could contribute to an entire series until all parks across the country are covered ... I hope we don't have too many articles that are nothing more than Twitter posts. It seems odd to call that an article, imo. Perhaps it was the easiest way to amass thoughts on the subject since they were all tweeted out over the time of the visit, perhaps giving the ‘sense’ of reporting live, but I could just follow Twitter for that. There's a reason I prefer one format over the other. Call me old-fashioned, but I actually like reading articles as opposed to a series of Twitter posts. Edit: That said, I do appreciate the ‘report’ and the information contained within. Thanks, John.
  8. It is mind boggling. Even against all evidence, nope, that evidence is all fake. People have GOT TO VOTE this November. And I honestly don't believe enough will ... either through an 'I don't care, it doesn't change my life' apathy or supression ... or ... whatever reason ... not enough will to make a difference. We are doomed.
  9. Both bullpens running in when the benches cleared was funny. Weird funny but also haha funny.
  10. Thanks. I looked on the mlb site and didn’t find anything. Thorpe did not have a good outing there.
  11. Anywhere to see/find a box score?
  12. That last sentence, that's what irritates me even more than who is used when. It's who is used how often over someone not being used at all. Why are they there then? This more than anything makes me ride the 'not a fan' of MoY bus.
  13. Now switching to the end of the Futures game.
  14. Yeah, I was just poking at someone who was being snarky about Dozier not being clutch.
  15. I already did watch. Looked like the Rays got upset over Dozier celebrating the balk, then a pitch was thrown close to Esco ... but it said benches cleared twice?
  16. So what happened in the 7th? I was at work and trying to catch up through game day.
  17. Baseball isn’t just so unpredictive like that. As for Dozier ... I remember a couple of Tigers games a seasons or three ago ... didn’t he have two walk off home runs in a row?
  18. You know ... I’m the one who showed up just when Dozier was batting. It was me. I’m the angel of good. Just ask Aggies.
  19. This exactly why I like baseball. People can say these things and are wrong a good lot of the time just because they think they know a trend.
  20. So, someone watch the post game show and tell me what happened in the 7th.
  21. OMG ... glad I didn’t miss that one! **** yeah!
  22. The game recap is up, should there be more to say about the game today. http://twinsdaily.com/topic/30635-article-tb-19-min-6-this-never-happened/
