  1. Since it's already tomorrow where you are, who won?
  2. Why don't you try answering the question and come up with your own list. The question put forth in the OP is: What would the Twins line-up look like if it was made up completely with defense as the only factor in making roster decisions? Cody came up with his list and his rationale, why don't you put forth your own ... with defense considerations only. Let's see your defensive lineup.
  3. Think how funny it would've been had I won.
  4. And I think I signed only one person's sheet. If you do a scavenger hunt again, I think it might be better to at least point out who people are, or have those who are being 'hunted' have special name tags or something, or have us doing some specific tasks to mingle, like you did by having us passing out the shots at the pub crawl. (I'm a horrible mingler by nature, but am more than happy to answer questions when approached.)
  5. I want to know whose factoid was whose on the scavenger hunt. I only found out 6 or 7. But have to say, I really didn't need to know John played naked softball ... just sayin.
  6. Can't say it enough ... this was a great event! I think I liked it better than the Pub Crawl, and that was a lot of fun, too, so tough to beat. Great venue, great speakers, fun all around. Too many of you missed it! Oh, and I saw Eduardo Escobar at my hotel after. We were on the elevator together.
  7. You were closer than Laudner was.
  8. Awesome event, guys! You did great! And, OMG, I just saw Eduardo Escobar!
  9. Launder equally great! Ol' Buck-Ninety-One hit it out of the park! Next year y'all need to be here. Good times!
  10. Pags was awesome! You guys who aren't here missed out on some great stories! A bit of break as we wait for Laudner
  11. I bet it's one, singular sensation ... (couldn't resist)
  12. Impressive and inspiring! Seth, I can't say it enough ... these interviews are the best! Will you ever do anymore live interviews like you did one year from ST?
  13. I'm 54 and my mix isn't aggressive ... but it's not a conservative mix, either.
  14. Welcome back! Hope parenthood is agreeing with you!
  15. ooou ... Carl Pavano! This is getting better all the time!
  16. Yay! I might have to make the trip north. I'm getting bored with winter!
  17. Did you mean 'not'? Or is Ryan now adamant on trading him?
  18. Probably, which is why I'd be even more disappointed to only get that for him.
  19. Yup. My 'shock' wasn't so much that it wasn't a lot of money, I just thought the market would set it higher.
  20. Thanks, Seth. As a moderator, I just want to add that I've been seeing a lot of disrespect floating around ... Ryan lied, Ryan's stupid, the Twins are cheap, etc. You may have strong feelings one way or another about how this team is run; I know I do, and I've stated it many times over the years so it's no secret. But let's be better in our rebuttals and disagreements and not go this easy route. For me, I was shocked at what Park signed for. But he signed it, and his agent worked this deal as much as Ryan. Maybe Park wanted out of Korea and would have taken anything and Ryan knew that? Don't know, and neither do you. Maybe it's truly a fair deal and only time will tell. So when you start making assumptions and stating opinions, be clear about that and leave the disrespect behind.
  21. Stop the name calling. That is not at all productive nor what this article strives to do.
  22. Thank you, Peanuts. I have enjoyed your writing over the years here at TD. This piece is one of the best things I think I have read here. Thank you.
