    It was the post he was responding to that was the egregious post. The 99% came from the other person. What the poster you quoted did was to emphasize what 1% means and should not be disregarded so callously as what the other poster implied. And the use of quote marks around “gets it” was either a misuse of quote marks, or further spreads misinformation with the implication that this is really nothing. That said, you are correct in that everyone needs to contain their comments as it relates to baseball. If you want to discuss broader issues of the virus, there is a dedicated thread in the Sports Bar forum. But callousness and disregard toward the seriousness of this situation, specifically or generally, will not be tolerated at TD. MODERATOR NOTE TO ALL: This is not a general discussion of COVID-19. This discussion, as is with any baseball forum discussion, needs to stay as it relates to the subject of baseball. If you want to discuss the virus in more general terms, please visit the Sports Bar forum where there is an ongoing thread. However, let me be clear, be very careful. No matter how few you think get seriously ill, have lifetime complications, or die, do not treat that insignificantly or callously. People are affected by this one way or another and you don’t know who here has or how they have, so be mindful and respectful of that.

    This was the best one yet, maybe because it was so close to home. It was interesting to me that her role, and recognition for what she could contribute, changed under new leadership. Gives me even more good feels for Falvey and Levine.

    I wouldn’t say anyone is stupid. In fact I don’t think that at all. Some may not seek out as much information and know all the integral facts. Then, again, those that do often disagree. One way or another, Buxton needs to stay on the field. He is an elite talent and athlete and we need him to stay healthy and luck has not been on his side, imo.

    Love this guy even more! Heh ... 'You will hear me during games' ... lol ... 'I'm the hairiest I've ever been' ... he's a jokester and prankster, but when it comes to pitching, he's all serious and focussed. I hope we get to see and hear all the antics, if games are actually played.

    For many years I was hard-pressed to choose a favorite Twin ... and now I'm hard-pressed to choose one that isn't! Love Romo ... he's just got a great spirit.

    Okay, then why is that interleague game more important than others? So not a fan of the Cubs

    Why is playing the Cubs an important date? They won’t be that great. Also, all games against Chicago, both teams, are on weekdays. No weekend series against them, home or away.
