  1. Who will have more holds this year, the twins or the Vikings o-line
  2. Little red Borevette....your 2016 twins
  3. You musta been something before electricity!
  4. The shift ends the no hitter for eovaldi
  5. Everything is funnier when silly writing is on the wall.
  6. jeff manship. Yikes. Almost as scary as Benj Sampson.
  7. Lol can't say we don't get breaks. The missed pickoff and the wild pitch
  8. So, since this appears to be a lost cause, looking at one of the worst teams in twins history by winning % (1999), this is the lineup the twins trotted out in a 9-5 loss to Texas on 4/25/99 8 Torii hunter 3 Doug mientkiewicz 5 Brent Gates 9 Matt Lawton 7 Chad Allen 4 Todd walker 2 Javier Valentin DH Corey Koskie 6 Christian Guzman Dan Perkins started and was relieved by Benj Sampson and joe mays
  9. Bizarro twins planet where the only thing lower than the in-park attendance numbers are the expectations!
  10. Does our hitting coach have a lifetime contract as well? Ya know, we have to coddle everyone who ever played here, so ya never know.
  11. A younger, thinner private Pyle gets the third out.
  12. Baseball is an easy game. Our opponents have figured it out. And there goes milone. This is ugly folks.
  13. His music choice has been the least offensive thing he's done all year.
  14. I used to think it was all luck, but in the last 15 years, I've seen the Red Sox win the series 3 times, teams like the saints, bucs, white sox, Seahawks and other long suffering teams win titles. You gotta take advantage of the chances.
  15. Yep, the twins seem perfectly content to just exist. Although, I'm not sure how profitable the club can be when the shiny new ballpark is sitting less than half full a few short years after it opened.
  16. Not to get too far off topic, but my dad is also a long suffering fan and we both accurately predicted the Peterson fumble. I did NOT expect Walsh to miss, but instead I expected him to make it and then Russell Wilson would take the remaining 20 seconds to get the Seahawks into FG range. That's what I fully expected.
  17. Wild pitches are not conducive to helping the situation.
  18. Well, I am unfortunately one of those myself and that may be true. I did cry after the Gary Anderson miss (I was 12), but since then it's been less and less sad after each gut wrenching loss. I sort of just sat there after Walsh missed the 90 foot FG. One thing I can say about the Vikings in their defense is that they at least make the moves they think can bring them a winner. This franchise, handing out "lifetime contracts" and never really contending for big name FAs or trades, I'm not real sure how serious they are about winning.
