    Yep. Lots of bats struggling, namely sano and Kepler. Santana has been awfully shaky for the last month or so. We're calling up a guy from AA to start one of the games tomorrow. We know we have 2 or 3 decent BP arms, that's about it. And recently the defense has been shaky. I guess at the end of the day, it's hard to expect a team one year removed from a franchise loss record to turn things around and compete all year. Seems as if the wheels are slowly coming off, the Cleveland series aside.

    The defense has been the biggest turnaround this season. Makes up for the weak pitching and relatively weak offense. We are seeing what happens when we don't get solid defense.
