  2. Best to not let him start another game then. Don't want to further hurt his perceived value.
  3. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsuyoshi_Nishioka Except Yoshi had enough class to not ask for a buyout. Hughes will either stick around gritting shelled for two years or just fade away. But still get paid.
  4. Is the injury that Perkins has contagious and is it possible PH gets it too?
  5. Wait, Bert is out again? My god, he works less than congress
  6. Just a friendly reminder that we still have 2 years and 2 1/2 months left of Phil Hughes
  7. Boy I hope we're buyers at the deadline. What an embarrassing joke this staff is.
  8. I didn't use any word, I censored myself...fill in the blank ~

  13. Wow, this turned quickly. Went to grab a beer and the lead is halved
  14. Big erv was more like big perm tonight
  15. That was **** ugly. Terrible effort.
  16. Yep. Lots of bats struggling, namely sano and Kepler. Santana has been awfully shaky for the last month or so. We're calling up a guy from AA to start one of the games tomorrow. We know we have 2 or 3 decent BP arms, that's about it. And recently the defense has been shaky. I guess at the end of the day, it's hard to expect a team one year removed from a franchise loss record to turn things around and compete all year. Seems as if the wheels are slowly coming off, the Cleveland series aside.
