  1. Mullens to start, per KOC
  2. It’s not that crazy a thought. 7 losses by a total of 26 points (3.7 point average per loss). They beat the apparent best team in the NFC. The defensive improvement has been obvious, yesterday notwithstanding. Turning it over to a rookie QB or a free agent…I don’t know. I gotta roll with kirko and maybe they can still draft a guy and let him sit a bit
  3. Dallas can’t handle success
  4. Kirk QB rating rank by year: 2020: 8 2021: 4 2022: 14 2023: 4
  5. Looks like the rams will go to 7-7. Packers will drop out at 6-8. Saints are 7-7 and play the rams next week. Just have to see what the Seahawks do tomorrow
  6. They did increase the cap about $17 million
  7. How many awful games has he had in the last couple years? Kirk was a top 10 (maybe #10 to be fair) qb the last two seasons. Who’s replacing that production? Jaren Hall? Unknown draft pick? I don’t want to lose any of those guys you mentioned either, but Danielle Hunter with a below average QB isn’t great either. Can’t win anything with a mediocre or below average QB
  8. Turnovers killed us in the first few games. Prime Tom Brady wasn’t overcoming a -9 turnover differential. Once they settle down we started winning.
  9. So far a good day with the packers losing.
  10. He was putting up MVP numbers though. You aren’t replacing those numbers easily
  11. GB down 10 in the third against TB. If all 3 NFC teams win today, they’ll all be 7-7.
  12. He does make some head scratching moves but no he shouldn’t be fired. I do question why it took until week 15 (and an injury) to feed Ty Chandler. The two qb sneaks may not have been good calls but my god, you needed less than a yard and couldn’t get it because the line got no movement. Execute. Kirk should be brought back next year and a quarterback can be drafted if one is available. Kirk is outstanding and gives us the best chance to win. Give him a couple more years and the rookie can sit the bench like they did for decades. I still want to see the team make the playoffs. Guys can get that experience and at the same time nobody expects anything of them.
  13. 42 points for Detroit against Denver. Not feeling too hot about next week
  14. If they’ve got their seed locked in, I disagree.
  15. Detroit up 21-0 at half. They’ll be 3 ahead after tonight. Making week 18 a possible “rest the starters”
  16. Vikings have now had 6 straight games where the defense has been asked to hold a one score lead in the final minutes of the 4th quarter. They’ve been successful 3 out of 6 times.
  17. Most of our secondary lacks size. That prayer TD to Higgins was a joke. Size disadvantage to the max
  18. Second one was inexcusable.
  19. By the way, 300 yards and a 99 rating for Mullens today
  20. Someone will be 7-7 tomorrow out of the Bucs and packers. Then have to root for the giants, commanders, panthers and eagles 😂
  21. Again though, we aren’t 4-10. The big picture is that the team can stink next year. The first round draft pick QB can bust. Flores can be hired elsewhere and the defense can regress. You can still win while planning for the future. Everyone understands what the ceiling is for 2023. Would you rather a playoff game where you’d be playing with house money and the team can get more playoff experience or an 8-9 finish? 4-13 isn’t an option any more
  22. I can’t understand the idea of wanting your team to lose or being ok with it. Why even watch the games then. There’s a big difference when you’re 2-14 playing a meaningless season finale as opposed to fighting for a playoff spot. There was nothing remotely enjoyable about the way today unfolded. Any realistic chances went out the window when Kirk got hurt, but it would be fun to see them qualify for a spot anyway. They’d be heavy underdogs on the road, much different from last year when everyone knew they were fraudulent but still should have beaten the giants
