    Braves have a crazy batting lineup. Meanwhile....our big money player is batting .216. Not fair.

    Dodgers switch pitchers with bases loaded and zero outs and manage to get out of it giving up a goose egg. Rocco puts the worst reliever in baseball in the game with two outs and guys on first and second and they end up getting five. Smart stuff.

    Ober was great. Picked him up in my fantasy baseball dynasty league where my team is near last place. Ober will be my greatest project.

    Look....I get that this joke was barely funny the first time.....and nobody liked it by the third time....BUT I DON'T GIVE UP. And neither does Mr. Apples. He'll feed the owners. With pies and sauce and fritters. Friday night games between two teams that a national audience cares nothing about exclusive to Apple TV+ is going to be big. Apple TV+ announcing a partnership with Mr. Big.

    Pretty wild that Apple TV can buy out local TV rights. And for a Twins/Guardians game? Guess you could say it's an upgrade over Foundation Season 2.

    Double in the first and now a grand slam. This is why I questioned Rocco having Kepler higher in the lineup.

    Those are season long numbers. Fact is that Kepler has been trending DOWN since the beginning of the year....and has been absolutely brutal in the month of August. Gordon is moving in the opposite direction.

    As I said....and I noticed it first in the Rangers series.....Gordon had been batting sixth or seventh.....despite batting nearly .300 in August. Outside of a couple recent games....Kepler has been dreadful at the plate.

    Unfortunately.....I've seen bases loaded and no outs produce zero runs. Fact is that the bottom of the lineup is whack right now. Leon is as close to an automatic out as it gets. It looks like he is constantly struggling to catch up to pitches.

    Gordon? Miranda? My point here is that during the Rangers series when we hit....what.....two for twenty something with runners in scoring position....Kepler was batting fifth. Plenty of chances with runners on. He's had a few good games recently.....but we need guys who have been hitting more consistently getting up to the plate after our top of the lineup batters.

    WHY is Kepler hitting third? Big reason why the Twins were dropping games left and right all through August was Rocco's insistence on batting him in the middle of the lineup despite his monthly average (at the end of the Rangers series) hovering around .120....with an OBP of .157. But yeah.....third seems like a good idea. Please get Rocco out of here at the end of the season.

    Can we be done with Rocco after this season? I can't imagine a worse in-game manager with the bizarre shifts and horrible pitching moves.

    Might have been a solo homerun if we hadn't gone with the 'leave the entire right side of the infield empty' shift for Adames.
