You make your living talking about major league baseball. Anyone who is serious about earning a living in any career relating to the game should want to learn as much Spanish as possible.     It's even worse than you say. $26M this year, $27M in 2018, $28M in 2019, $29M in 2020 and $30M in 2021. Full no-trade clause. And to top it off there is a $10M personal services contract after the playing contract expires. And to top that off he gets $3M if he reaches 3000 hits - current total is 2874. This is what happens when a good agent takes advantage of a clueless owner.
