    Man, the only good thing about this recent stretch is the day games- so the crappy stuff happens when I'm asleep, and I can trick myself into thinking I only dreamed my team has descended to this level of suck. But today- (sorry, tonight)- wow, the Braves suck worse than us, and we have a chance to catch Houston for the AL Toilet Bowl Title. Go, Twinks, Go!

    OMG-- My eyes are watering, and my coffee has long since left my nose. What a heart-warming story there, Riv. Heart-warming because it didn't happen to me! Haw haw haw! North, you'll appreciate this- I scored my virgin try, and did my Zulu Warrior run between the posts- fortunately in Devil's Lake, North Dakota. There was no one around to see, 'cept teammates, and my girlfriend and her pals, who showed up late and unbeknownst-

    Well, Ok, maybe there was a reason why Gibby completely sucked so far this season. And Ervin, I think, wrenched his back spinning around to watch Sano gack thay fly ball last week- that made my back hurt, too, as I sat in my chair and watched. I'm glad to see Berrios and Meyer get the call, especially in a situation where Molly has no choice but to use them. Go get 'em, young' uns.

    This is how Molly rolls-- call up a guy, especially a prospect that the sufferin' fans have been waiting for, and let 'em sit. Did that last year, doing it again this year. He totally jerked around Gulfa Tonkin in DC by not letting him start the clean inning with the lead- showing him he's not trusted-- Starting the inning with a guy who's gassed already, then bring him in for the Murphy gack-up, and boom! I'm thinking that whole inning doesn't happen, and we escape with the win, otherwise. No surprise Meyer's been sitting the whole time tonight either. Kepler sat this year, Vargas sat last year, and when they finally get smart and get Berrios up, I'd be completely surprised to see him start within the first month he's here. You don't inspire confidence in your young guys if you blatantly show you don't trust them from the get-go. Why the cripe they didn't hire Dougie Baseball, I don't know.
